to have in contemplation in the 17th paragraph of his Report i e provided his proposed. further investigations
as to

the nature of the bottom, and of
the Works of a sin
similar character
already executed, appear to justify
a departure in this respect from the design for the wall hitherto
adopted.
12. With regard to the concrete-in mass proposed for the rubble berm in my Report 8th December 1888, this should of 28 Dec
consist of one portion of cemont to five of gravel and sand, deposited through a shoot of about 8 square internally, having a hopper
